Hi, I'm Margi.
I’m a mom of seven, grandmother of four, and caring for others has always been at the center of my life. I’m a registered nurse by training and a creative teacher by nature, but over the past several years, my calling to serve has become deeply personal. I had the honor of caring for both my mother-in-law and my mother as they aged and passed peacefully in my home. Walking with them through that season shaped the way I serve others. Today, I bring that same loving presence to the families I support, offering care that is personal, attentive, and rooted in the love of God. I would love to be the hands and feet of Christ to your loved one too.
“A society will be judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members.”
-Saint Pope John Paul II
Grace
Pictured here is Grace, my mother-in-law who taught me a lot about my own calling as a nurse. I love to reflect on her name – Grace – and that she really was a source of grace to me by teaching me deeper compassion and love. Grace suffered with Alzheimer’s. Her presence in our home during the last four years of her life was such a blessing to me and our family. Although her memory failed her, she fought to maintain her sense of self and a beautiful dignity. She had been raised as an only child and the apple of her father’s eye. We made every effort to treat her as such every day. We wanted her to know that she was a beloved daughter of God even if she had trouble with caring for herself. Our greatest consolation was that she peacefully passed in 2018 surrounded by family and covered with prayer.
My values are formed by my Catholic faith and my desire to treat everyone as God’s loved ones. I am honored to participate in loving his children – even when they are not so little anymore.
My Values
Reverence for the Dignity of Human Life
Each human being is sacred and worthy of respect, from beginning to natural end. I honor each person not for what he or she can do, but for who they are – a beloved child of God, created in His image.
Compassionate Personal Love
Care is not a service; it’s a relationship. I strive to meet each person with patience, kindness, and authentic concern and speak to them, care for them, and listen to them as Christ would.
Integrity in Care
I am guided by faith, prayer, and moral responsibility. I act with honesty, consistency, and humility. I honor the trust placed in me by my clients and their families.
Joyful Service
I believe care should be warm and cheerful. I strive to bring God’s light to each of my clients, to remind them that they are loved – and they are not alone!
