Care Should Feel Personal, Not Transactional
Anyone can care for the elderly in basic tasks, but not everyone sees the person. I do. I believe every person deserves to be known, seen, and treated with dignity and respect. As a Catholic nurse, my faith informs my care for the elderly, my devotion to treating them with dignity, and my compassion for them. I have spent the last five years caring for my aging parents and honoring them with responsible, patient, and cheerful care. Those years have taught me that not everyone in the industry understands the sacredness of this period of life. I do. You can trust me to treat your loved ones like my own. I look forward to loving them, honoring them, and spending time with them when they need support and care the most.

Yes, I am a registered nurse licensed in Virginia.
Yes, with certain contingencies. This is something I offer to established clients as part of ongoing care. (This allows me to support each person with a full understanding of their needs, preferences, and routines.)
I will transport and accompany a client to their doctor’s appointments, communicate with the medical team, be an advocate on their behalf, and ensure that appropriate questions are answered. I require that a family member or person in charge of their medical decisions is available via phone call to listen in and be a witness to the actual conversation with the doctor.
Telehealth care is becoming more common for those aging in place. It reduces missed appointments and avoids transportation and mobility challenges. I do not act as the healthcare provider in these calls. I do not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. I accompany the client to the telehealth call as an advocate. I assist the client in getting on the call, positioning the camera, understanding the doctor, asking clarifying questions, and feeling comfortable with their care.
Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm. If you have specific request for bedtime care, please reach out. This may be a possibility too.
